The Helsinki Studio Apartment
Foundation has run the Myllypuro Artist Residency since 1973.
We have
22 studios with appartments for visual artists. Since the year of
foundation
more than 55 artists have been working
in the Myllypuro Artist Residency.

My visual language is strongly based on my inner view of the world.

Timo Heino
Timo Heino was born 1962 in Tampere, Finland. He graduated in 1989
from the Department of Painting in the Academy of Fine Arts,
Helsinki, Finland, and has also studied sculpture. Timo Heino
lives and works in Helsinki. He has taught in the Academy of
